Don’t go shopping when you’re hungry, hire before you have to.

  1. Receive application, resume, brief note.
  2. Phone Interview.
  3. Questionnaire.
  4. In person interview.
  5. Team interview to test for culture fit.

Preserving the culture is the most important part.  Culture is the most undervalued asset in a business and sanctioned incompetence demoralizes.  You can teach the person to run the machine that makes the widget but you cannot teach someone who is a donkey to be an eagle.
